Most recently I have been working for Union Jack Oil Plc. Listed on the London Stock Exchange as AIM: UJO

• Providing robust, accurate and honest geological and geophysical support to the board of directors between 2017 until the end of 2025. This has resulted in a very detailed knowledge of the UK onshore. Also, a great deal of knowledge gained from a recent exploration campaign in Oklahoma.

      

• Between 2018 and 2019 I spent around one year consulting in the UK  office of CNOOC (Chinese National Oil Corporation), based in Uxbridge, UK. mostly undertaking a detailed prospect generation and evaluation of blocks in offshore Senegal.  Also covered Mauritania and Western Sahara to the north,  and  the Gambia and Guinea Bissau to the south. West Africa is amazing, with exciting discoveries on the shelf and in the deep water realm. Large oilfields and huge gas reserves in the deep water. Huge potential for shallow and deep water carbonate plays as well as the conjugate connection to the huge discoveries in Guyana.

 

• My actual corporate career ended in 2016, when BG Group was taken over by Shell, and I declined to return to Shell.
